Aces

We went to an Alaska Aces game last night. We have been talking about going since we got here to Anchorage. It was the first game of their playoff series. They played their rivals the Idaho Steelheads. It is so much fun having an arena that is 5 minutes away from our house. Chelsea Handler is also performing there next week but there is nobody to watch Alexia, boo. We were a little worried about Alexia because of how late the game was (it started pretty much when she would normally go to sleep) and with all the noise. She did pretty well. Every time she heard a lot of noise she would turn to the ice and clap. Everyone thought it was the cutest thing ever, as did I. She had no idea what she was clapping for but she knew it was the right thing to do, lol. She did get quirmy and did not want to sit still but that is life with this one year old terrorist. Nick got a cow bell from the gift shop and she played with that for a while, and then she tried to attack my huge ice for a while too. She did not want to eat it she just wanted to destroy it with her attack spoon. All in all it was a fun night and the Aces did win. We are planning on going back for more games as long as they keep winning so there are games to go to.
